Postponement: Jerry Kiernan Memorial 2 Mile Race

We regret to advise that due to  unforeseen  circumstances the inaugural Jerry Kiernan Memorial 2 Mile Race scheduled for the 16th of September 2023 has been postponed. The Science of Running Symposium scheduled for the same day will still proceed as planned.

We greatly appreciate the support we have received to date. All entry fees received will be refunded pending alternative arrangements.

The Jerry Kiernan Foundation supports emerging Irish athletes, enabling them to invest in achieving their full potential. Since its establishment in  2021, the foundation has supported  World and Olympic finalists, European medalists and emerging talent including Louise Shanahan, Jack Raftery, Chris O'Donnell and Courtney Maguire.
